you know... some good things came out of that whole ordeal, and i've been trying to count them.
1. our house is the cleanest i think it's ever been since we've lived in it
2. i know for sure that i can pack up all my stuff for travel back to Denver. (i was a bit worried because of some new clothing i happened to accumulate in Florida)
3. i have a new found appreciation for construction work and people who understand what we are capable of
4. when you go through that stuff, there's always special kinds of bonding... so we bonded.

i'm sure there's more... but i'm just happy to be back. even if we only have 2 more weeks left.
new week coming up and i'm sure lots of fun stories to follow.
until then, good night!

So I finally caught up on your blogs and words cannot explain how proud I am of you. I even shed a tear, just because I know that your heart is in the right place and you are directly and indirectly changing the people around you. You are such an inspiration and I love you Abigail (in process)! I know what you mean about people appreciating what you are capable of. On my trip, some people just didn't think we could get alot done and make a huge difference...but we did. haha boo ya puia! By the way, I cannot wait to do more bonding through life, because there will always be crazy stuff in life and bonding with the people you love just seems to be the best cure. I'll be looking forward to your next update! Xoxoxo

I am so glad that even your temporary home feels like home.
ReplyDeleteGreat attitude to have Abigail. I'm glad you are where you are, in that you are living life in real circumstances and (I am sure) bringing joy to your team. Keep up the good work. Miss ya. We're proud of you.
