we began the roofing process today by the way... super cool!
i'm starting to get a big giant crush on construction work.... i still have lots to learn, but i find it so enjoyable. someday it would be so cool to build my own house

I know what you mean about building. I actually contemplated building a house for my parents on a lake at one time. We found this great place with a willow hanging over the lake edge. Building new is much more fun than remodeling, which is most of what I have done.

This is ringing a bell. I loved construction so much I was close to building a house for my parents on a lake after college, but then they decided not to move.
